JAX MVP Cocktail Party
River City United had a great turn out to the Jaguar Foundation’s 25th Cocktail Party hosted at the TIAA Bank stadium. The River City United Foundation is fortunate enough to be one of 2019’s JAX MVP’s, represented by our very own Barbara Sears. GO JAGS!
Peace of Heart Community
Peace of Heart Community is a beautiful home located in the Ponte Vedra area for 6 autistic women to live in. This home is supported by a farm in which the produce is sold to the community. A large group of us got the opportunity to help plant local produce which was both fun and rewarding. They are always looking for volunteers every Saturday morning! Reach out if you would like to get involved.
Run with the Flock
One of our board members teamed up with a group from work, and participated in Run with the Flock, which is an annual 5K put on by FIS. All proceeds from this event went to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The Shircliff Society Bowtie Ball
One of St. Vincent’s biggest events of the year was hosted at the Manifest Distillery this year. Every dollar raised from the Bowtie Ball went directly to new born babies through the purchase of this life-saving equipment that safely regulates a new baby’s temperature in the first moments after birth, giving them the best start at life. We would like to get more involved with St. Vincent.
A Night at Roy’s
A Night at Roy’s is an event no one should miss! With a Hawaiian-themed night, a celebrity chef and live-music, we were able to support the Monique Burr Foundation, which funds safety programs in schools of all ages.
Jay Fund Wine Tasting Gala
We were all very happy to attend this year’s Jay Fund gala, where we were able to snag a couple of pictures with THE Tom Coughlin. All proceeds from this event are contributed to the families of local children battling cancer. We would love to get more involved and spread awareness for the Jay Fund.
The Jaguar Foundation Wine Down
Such a great night at JAX MVP’s Mid Season Wine Down. We were happy to contribute multiple items to the silent auction and look forward to getting more involved with this annual event hosted at One Ocean. All proceeds went back to local organizations selected by The Jaguars Foundation to support women, children, and veterans in need. We love what the Jacksonville Jaguars do for this city! Special thanks to Kane Sear’s for putting on such a great event.
The Heal Gala
Another successful HEAL gala in the books! The HEAL foundation was able to raise enough money to provide over 240 tricycles to local special education classes.
The Toast to Life Gala
We were fortunate enough to attend the Muscular Dystrophy Association event this past year at the Ponte Vedra Beach Sawgrass Marriott. The Toast to Life gala was a great opportunity to see our community come together for such an important cause. We loved being able to support this organization and hope to get more involved in the future.
The McKenzie Run
We have all enjoyed participating in McKenzie’s Run for the past 9 years, but this year we were able to show even more support for The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation by having a booth to spread awareness about our spring fundraiser for the foundation. We were honored to have so many familiar faces come by and support us! Thank you to everyone who came by!
HEAL’s annual Bags and Brews
HEAL’s first annual Bags and Brews was held in Downtown Jacksonville at Intuition Ale Works. HEAL (Help Enrich Autistic Lives) is a local foundation that hosts a junior board of young adults that support the cause, which has inspired us to want to come together and get involved. Though we did not come out of the day with a victory in corn hole, we were given the opportunity to formally introduce ourselves as a foundation and network with a lot of people with a similar goal; investing in the Jacksonville community.
